Our production team is based on ChengDu, China.We have a sales office in HongKong. Our process is 100% online, meaning that in-person meetings aren’t necessary in order to carry out your projects. We're always be there with you on-line.
What files do I need to send in order to start a project?
Generally, you can send us any kind of files you have, either CAD files, Revit model, Rhino or hand sketches.
Ideally, we prefer to work with the following formats of files:
- for plans and drawings – CAD format;
- for 3D models –3ds, max, obj.
- for mood boards to refer the rendering style you prefer- JPG, PDF,etc

Could you do the interior rendering if I don't have detailed design package?
We're flexible with the production. If you don't have detailed design package, we can create the rendering by using your reference images to specific items. We’ll create a presentation with a few alternatives of furniture that satisfy the requirements and your vision of a 3D model of interior design. Those can be further changed during the several rounds of revision that are foreseen in each quote. So we could do this but the price will be higher than standard project?
How 3D interior rendering to assist my design progress?
The advantage of 3D interior rendering services is that they could be used to analyse how your designs work in a real-time environment. You can try with different colors, textures, materials, models, and many more changes to compare designs without constructing real-life prototypes, thus saving expenses.
What is your turnaround time?
Our turn around times for renderings is 8-10 calender days dependes on many factors, like the quantity of renderings, the complexity, the space size, etc. In order to have an accurate estimation about the production, please send us a brief. We'll consider all the requirement and the team capablity to provide you a accurate proposal.
What's the production procedure?
There are three main stages for the production
-Modeling, check the model accuracy, the camera angle, confirm the rendering tone (day/dusk/night)
-Rendering, check the lighting, the materials, the landscape
-Post production, check the entourage and other effects
How many rounds of revisions included?
Typically, there are 3 rounds of revisions included in the modeling stage, 4 rounds of revisions in the rendering and post production stage. However, if the comments are related to improve the rendering effect that Videa doesn't meet, we will do as many as needed.
How do you guarantee the quality?
We use a thorough double-check quality control system.First, project managers check all the comments are well addressed. Next, our art director will evaluate the deliveries once again for compliance with aesthetic quality standards of the the company.
What type of changes might result extra cost?
Change the camera angle after delivering the rendering drafts, around 30%-40% of the orginal price
Change the rendering tone after delivering the rendering drafts, around 30%-40% of the orginal price
Major changes to the elevations and furniture in the interior rendering after delivering the rendering drafts, around 20%-50% of the orginal price
Major changes to the facade in the exterior rendering after delivering the rendering drafts, around 20%-50% of the orginal price
What software are used in Videa's 3D rendering services?
Our 3d rendering services include 3d interior rendering services and 3d architectural rendering services. In both renderings, 3D MAX is used to build the model, apply the lighting, materials. Adobe Photoshop is used for the post production.
What is the final delivery?
The final delivery will be high resolution image in JPG format.
What is the resolution/pixel size of the renderings?
By default, we render the images @ 4000pixels@72dpi which is the size we quote for. If you require a rendering for a print medium or advertisement please let us know in advance.
Will you deliver the 3D MAX file for free?
We don't provide 3D MAX file with lighting, materials,landscape for free. If you need the 3D MAX file to print the physical model, we could provide a collapsed 3D model for your use. Collapsed means all the objects in the 3D scene will be in one material.
